Jazz Maui, a program of Arts Education for Children Group (AECG) nonprofit organization,provides an opportunity for island residents, music students, aspiring and professional musicians,and jazz music aficionados to participate in or attend high-quality jazz music performances. This is the current logo, I decided to fix their logo since it doesn't work well with the BYUH poster.
I decided to make their logo connected to jazz and Maui. I wanted to emphasize friendliness, trust, and culture in the logo. The first drafts were inspired from tribal patterns and music notes.
I decided to continue with the tribal inspired design (Hook) and gave it a Jazzy rhythm with the letter's positions.
